1950s 1960s Vintage Black Wool Handbag Purse with Brown Lucite Faux Tortoise Handle
Winter bags are best when they are felted wool. This lovely little black bag is a great winter staple. The faux tortoise lucite or plastic handle is really what sets this bag apart. The interior has multiple pockets, including a zipper pocket. There is a faint mark inside the zipper pocket to indicate maker, however I could not read it as its very worn. Please see measurements. Should fit a smart phone. Bag does not stand up on its own. Handel can move a bit because its on hinges.

Measures about 7 inches high (without handle) x 14 inches long x 1.75 inches deep
Good to fair vintage condition - Presents beautifully but there is some overall wear to bag, inside and out. Wool has some areas of wear, especially along the edges at the top. A hole was also found, it looks like it was masked by trying to color the white lining behind it - honestly this trick worked by the prior owner as it looks ok from afar. Some tarnish to the metal as well. There are some scratches/scuff to the lucite/plastic handle.
