Hi, I’m Sophia and welcome to my shop!

I have been involved in the vintage fashion world since I can remember. When I was little, my Mom used to take me to auctions, vintage stores, and all sorts of thrift shops to track down the coolest pieces of clothing and accessories. I grew up watching my mom sell vintage, learning all the ropes from her own hard work and studies. While it started off only as a fun little hobby for me, my interest in the “old” quickly became a core trait of my being - running so deep that I even ended up studying it!

I am a former archaeologist and anthropologist and while life circumstances have determined - at least for now - that I need to put my academic life on the back burner, I still love to learn anything and everything I can about the past. For now my little vintage world fills the archaeological void. I embrace this life change out of necessity, but with my academic training in my back pocket. Dating, categorizing, and understanding the historical context of vintage fashion has become a true joy of mine. And while I am no longer creating typologies of ancient ceramics, I can at least keep up my skills by creating them with vintage clothes!!

I am happy that through this shop I can embrace my love for learning about the past and share it with you all via the vintage I sell! I am grateful that through my hard work and passion, I can now dedicate my time into restoring and bringing back vintage pieces so that they can be treasured for decades to come!
