THE ARCHIVE
Let’s look back at just a few of my favorite vintage treasures that have passed through my online shop. I wish I could show you everything, but alas its just not feasible!
This is both a way to show you some of my favorite pieces as well as a memorial to my own hard work. It is nice for me to look back and see how far I have come. I have been so lucky to have acquired, restored, and sent out so many beautiful pieces to so many wonderful customers.
Enjoy!
One of my all time favorites! I only wish I had been able to find this 1920s wedding gown for my own wedding. But I am glad it can be used for someone else on their very special day!
One of many beautiful cream 40s nightgowns to have passed my way.
The first 1950s lucite handbag I ever found in the wild!
The first Alfred Shaheen I have ever found out in the wild!

My favorite vintage things will probably always be Lilli Ann Coats. While I do love to collect them, I have come to accept that living in NC means I really shouldn't keep all that I find. As such, I try to sell most of them so that they can be shown off and loved! This classic cream Lilli Ann was sold to be given as a gift. I love this because my very first Lilli Ann was also gifted to me by my mom!
The coveted vintage Ranchwear brand H Bar C - I couldn't believe my eyes when my lovely mom picked this 1950s wool jacket for my shop!
Fun & Funky... with pockets!!! I love a good jumpsuit for the shop, but this one is probably one of the absolute coolest I have ever seen! I am so glad it found its next home.

One of only a few pieces I have had sell to a television costume company. While it was never used on screen that I could tell, I still love this 1950s hot pink robe!!
A very special Miss Bergdorf Goodman dress. There are very few pieces where the vibrancy of the wool and intricacy of the woven pattern take my breath away... but this one managed to achieve it! A stunning piece.
Perhaps one of the most jaw dropping dresses to have ever passed my way, a late 1940s Will Steinman ball gown featuring both liquid satin and tulle!
Another incredible Lilli Ann from the shop. This special little number sold at market and is now the first Lilli Ann coat in that customers collection! I am so happy to have been the one to offer up such a great piece to a blossoming collector!
This 1960s sweater vest is the only piece I have sold to a production company that I think I saw on the big screen, though it's difficult to tell as a jean jacket was worn over top of it. Regardless, I still think its pretty cool!
Only one of a few coats I sold online (as most I sell strictly at markets). This beauty was so fun to fix up and it turned out almost perfectly!
The first of many Daniel Green boudoir slippers to have passed through the shop! These ones were one of my first international sales to boot!
Absolutely obsessed still with this treasure! I am so glad this stunning velvet Marguerite Rubel swing coat passed through the shop! The color and collar combination were FIRE!
Incredibly, I found this in the wild and not a private collection. This 1960s silk satin and chiffon dress AND coat set was from the Chandelier Room, the fancy room of the Woodward and Lathorp Department Store in D.C. I found it while I still lived in Maryland, and while I wasn't selling at the time, I knew it would be perfect for my shop once I opened!
I am a sucker for good chenille tapestry coats and bags. And almost all have sold at market rather than here online. As such, this one was the only one I could find a picture for!
The first hat I ever fell in love with and one of two that I wish I had not sold as I truly adore it- oh well! This brown wool 1940s hat is identical to the one worn by Bette Davis in "The Great Lie" WB 1941.
Vintage dress & coat sets a favorite of mine. And while they are hard to find, they are always worth it! This MOD beauty is a perfect example - olive green, silky satin, and a padded collar! I am so lucky to have had it pass through my shop doors!
By far my favorite holiday piece to have hit the shop, sold to one of my most loyal of customers! The piece is absolutely stunning, but the bustle in back really made it!
The first 1940s knit set I have ever found with all the original pieces! A beautiful green piece from the brand Lass O' Scotland.
This stunning set is probably one of my favorite dress and coat sets to have ever passed through my shop. I personally love sets and they are hard to find to begin with and as such are usually a favorite of mine. BUT this jewel tone beauty always takes the cake! The bright green and blue brocade was stunning - and lets not forget that BEAUTIFUL swing coat!
Novelty prints are the best! This stunning jaguar print silk gown is probably one of the coolest novelty prints I have ever seen!
Not a particularly special piece, but this 1960s dress was the first ever garment I sold to a costume production company. It went off to a big company, spanning many TV shows. I have yet to figure out which one it went to... but its always fun watching to see if I will spy it!
These fun little antique sunnies!

The only 1920s coin purse I have ever found in the wild that has been in almost perfect shape. It was made of beautiful silver chain mail with a lovely hand painted design.
One of only a few 1980s pieces I have, but it was a perfect one for the shop as it imbued so much 1920s style and grace! The two piece set was pure silk chiffon and oh so lovely!
I love vintage sets, but this 1950s blue reversible silk jacket and dress set was by far one of my favorites to both model and restore! I am so happy it found a good home!
I love to find and fix up vintage hats - they are essential accessories that can really change a look! While many pass through my shop, there are only two hats that I have somewhat regretted not keeping for myself. This 1940s teal blue wool hat was one of them - its is just so elegant and fun!
I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this 1930s or early 1940s off-shoulder striped dress in a room of vintage costumes at a defunct theater in Greensboro! Fixing it up was an honor and I am so happy that it can now be enjoyed!!
The first ever Lilli Ann I ever sold! The color is rare, though this 1960s silhouette was common for the brand.
A beautiful documented Vera night gown, dating to 1972.
One of only a few truly old pieces I have found at the thrift store in the last decade (most stuff comes from private collection, auction, or estate sale). This beautiful late 1940s Lordleigh grey wool dress had the most fun card suits embroidered all over the bodice!
Gone to a friend, making me so happy as its probably one of my favorite pieces. It has one of the loviest 1950s silhouettes I have seen in awhile and in such a wonderful polkadot pattern!
1980s Givenchy at its finest! This suit was so fun to model!
The first item I ever sold! A basic 1960s sequined blouse, not a designer piece, but still expertly made and beautiful! I will always remember it!
One of only a few 1930s gowns I have ever found and absolutely breathtaking.
Probably one of my all time shop favorites - an almost perfect condition 1950s fully sequined black dress!
Sold to one of my favorite vintage shop owners - this is one of my all time favorite pieces EVER!
One of my favorites from the shop. It is not made by a special designer or anything, but I have always been so drawn it. The the construction, bold fabric choice, and the timeless silhouette of this mid century piece just always spoke to me.
