A classic vintage staple - the white dress slip, this time in the harder to find COTTON! Vintage dress slips are the secret to anyones vintage wardrobe. They can help minimizing undergarment lines and I personally cannot wear a wool knit sets without one (as they keep that itchy vintage wool away from your skin!). A true vintage fashion staple. This lovely white slip features eyelet lace detailing across the hem and the bodice. Fabric feels like cotton and does not have give. Label says ""Value Wear" (likely from the 50s or 40s). Tag says 36. Would likely best fit a modern Small, possibly a medium. Please note this is a pullover piece as there are no closures and given the fabric type, its likely meant to fit a bit loosely. Measurements (some flat measurements are pictured):
Bust: 35 inches
Waist: 31 inches
Hips: 40 inches
Length: 43 inches (straps can be adjusted somewhat)
Good vintage condition- Some overall wear to the slip. There are a few loose threads here and there that do not seem to impact wear. There were a few marks that would not come out with cleaning, though they did lighten significantly. These were very hard to show on camera. A few small pinholes found.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment.
