Vintage White Pinafore Style Apron with Tie Back and Pocket - OS
A lovely and simple vintage white pinafore style apron. The piece features a pocket as well. Great for costume or cooking! There is no label or tag on the piece. It looks like it was hand made, some elements even look to be hand stitched. Most pieces from this estate dated to the 40s-60s and as such this apron likely falls within that same time frame, especially given the style. Fabric is cotton and it ties in the back. It should be somewhat accommodating in size given its a tieback apron. That being said for your reference model is modern women’s size 4/6 and even tied tight, it was a bit loose. Dress form is size Medium. Please note that the blue dress underneath - as is shown on model- does not come with the piece.

Approximate Measurements :
Bust: relatively open as its an apron
Waist: about 28 inches when tied tight BUT the ties are each about 27 inches long on either side! As such this piece is pretty accommodating.
Hips : relatively open as its an apron
Length: 40 inches
Good vintage condition - Some overall general wear to the item. Most notably are these pinpoint marks of the original owners name (I think?) that was once stitched upon the neckline - the actual stitching was removed however, but the pinpoints of the thread still remain faintly. Some small spots and areas of faint discoloration found that would not come out with multiple soaks, but they did lighten significantly. Some loose threads that do not seem to impact wear. Two small holes found and a few small pulls to the fabric also found.
Fabric does like to wrinkle so hang this up as soon as you receive it.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
