1960s Vintage "Forever Young by Puritan" White Dress with Red Roses - Sm
Stunning and unique! This lovely white wiggle dress is perfect for date night! The red and green embroidered roses contrast so boldly against their white background. Zips up the back with a metal zipper. Label is for "Forever Young by Puritan". No size tag. Would likely best fit a modern small. See Measurements below. Model modern size 4/6 for reference. The dress is not lined. I would advise wearing a slip.

Measurements of Dress:
Bust: 36 inches
Waist: 28 inches
Hips: 36- 37 inches (depending on if the darts are stretched out or not)
Sleeve length: 5 inches
Total Length: 43 inches
Good to Fair Vintage Condition - The dress presents beautifully. The biggest issue is there are a few areas of faint yellowing (REALLY hard to photograph - the last to pictures are the same spot at the front nearish hem). Because the dress is meant to be pure white I feel like its just a tad bit more obvious than it would be on any other color. As such I have designated between fair and good. I did try everything to get it out - but no luck. There is also just some overall wear to the piece, with some pinholes/ wear spots and loose threads here and there. The belt is worn and discolored (this is much more obvious than the marks on the dress for reference). You can tell in the photos that belt is a bit creamier than the dress. Fabric is thin - it was intended that way - but it is delicate so just a word of caution - be gentle and you will probably want a slip. A random small blue mark near one underarm. May be best for costume or study.
