1950s 1960s Vintage Black Fully Sequined Cardigan Sweater - Md to Lg
A dazzling example of a vintage sweater!! You will certainly stun in this incredible fully sequined black cardigan. The cardigan has small hook closures up the front. The label was unfortunately cut out by the prior owner. But given the construction and style of the piece its likely from the 60s, possibly the late 50s. It is fully lined in what feels to me like silk. The knit itself feels like wool. There is no size tag, but it would likely best fit a modern day Medium, maybe a Large depending on how you like your cardigans to fit. Please refer to measurements. There is a teeny bit of give to the knit, but not a ton. Model is modern size 4-6 and dress form is a modern medium for reference.

Bust: 40 inches
Hem (bottom): 34 inches
Length: 18 inches
Sleeve Length: 21 inches
Good Vintage Condition- Some overall expected wear to piece. As mentioned above, the tag was cut out by the former owner. There is some wear to the internal lining as well. There are a few small areas throughout the piece with loose threads that show some prior sequin loss. I have tried to reinforce the areas I found, but please know that with vintage items continuous sequin loss is a high probability at some point - either sooner or later. Please note too that there is evidence of hand stitching to areas of the piece and as such the sequins were likely done by hand and as a result they don’t all go the same direction - which honestly gives it a really lovely texture in my opinion.
