1950s Vintage Abe Schrader Navy Blue Satin and Crepe Cocktail Dress - Lg
Simple and lovely - a great piece for the holidays. The navy blue crepe and satin combination is a timeless look. And the added detail at the bodice gives such an air of elegance. The dress zips up the back with a metal zipper. The label is for “Abe Schrader”, but there is no size tag. Would likely best fit a modern Large. For reference, model is size 4/6, while dress form is modern 8.

Fair vintage condition - The dress presents beautifully overall and is likely wearable, but there is some wear to the item and so it would likely be best for a rework/ re-dye piece or costume. Most notable is the dress exhibits some color fade throughout, demonstrated in up close photos. For some reason this did not seem noticeable to me from afar or when shown on model photos - Honestly, I believe that if you are going somewhere with moody lighting I doubt the color fade would be noticeable… BUT it is there - so your discretion). There is some wear to fabric, this is most noticeable inside the garment. A few loose strings that do not seem to impact wear also found. Zipper pull is slightly bent, but still functions. Lining sticks out ever so slightly from hem.
