1950s Vintage Neiman Marcus Cream Chiffon Flower Wedding Bridal Headpiece
An absolutely stunning headpiece from the 1950s that would make a lovely addition to a bridal outfit on the big wedding day! The chiffon fabric is folded in such a way that it resembles flowers. The addition of little flowers really pulls the whole look together. The piece is more like a headpiece, almost a head band, as the frame can be pulled to make it slightly larger (very much like a headband). The label is a 1950s Neiman Marcus tag! You may need to pin this to keep it on ones head securely.

Measurements: for reference models hat size is 21.5.
Across (from ear to ear not pulled): about 6 inches (though as its a headpiece, it does somewhat act as a headband and can be pulled out some)
Width (top to bottom): about 7.5 inches
Good Vintage Condition - The piece presents beautifully but there is some overall wear. The headpiece has some markings and faint discoloration on it, though most noticeable are those on the velvet that lines the frame on the underside. Some of the chiffon exhibits wear, the worst of it is the bow that hangs down in back. Some of the thread used to tack down the chiffon flowers is slightly discolored - not noticeable from afar. Some loose threads on the underside that do not seam to impact wear. Ever so slightly bent on one side, which is not noticeable when worn.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment.
