1960s Vintage Jay Herbert of California Pink Formal Gown with Satin Sash - Sm
Another incredible pink formal gown for a summertime formal or wedding party! This lovely 1960s classic silhouette gown is great for summer!! The fabric is ribbed in that it is raised in a faint linear pattern (see close ups). Plus, that sash makes this dress probably on of the coolest I have seen in awhile! The dress even features underarm pads to prevent discoloration (this can be removed if you like). Slit in the back to make walking easier! Zips up the back with metal zipper and features hook closures at the sash on the back as well. The main body of the dress feels like cotton, but it is lined. The sash is a satin fabric. Tag is for Jay Herbert of California and says vintage size 12 - though this is a vintage size and it would likely best fit a modern day Small. Model is modern size 4-6 for reference.

Bust: 35 inches/ 36 taught (model is modern 34b and you can see it gapes a bit in the back).
Waist: 26 inches
Hips: 39 inches
Length: 54 inches
Good Vintage Condition- Some overall wear to garment. A few loose threads and tiny pulls here and there that don’t seem to impact wear - especially to the interior of the gown. There are a few minor spots and tiny areas of discoloration, most notable is an area near the hem and on the underarm pads where there is some yellowing/ discoloration that did not come out with treatment. Sash fabric does like to wrinkle, so hang this up as soon as you receive it!
