1960s Vintage Pale Almond Yellow Gossard Short Peignoir Nightgown & Robe Set - Sm to Md
This incredible 1960s pale almond yellow colored sleep set is perfect for those warm spring and summer nights. The breathable nylon is somewhat sheer yet oh so cute, allowing for a comfortable nights sleep. The satin around the edges of the robe and nightgown elevates this nightgown too. The night gown is essentially a pull over, with some buttons. The robe can be buttoned in the front as well. Label is for Gossard Artemis and says Petite. While it is a robe and nightgown are meant to be somewhat loose fitting it does seem somewhat accommodating in size. As such, it would likely best fit a modern Small to Medium. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference. Dress form is modern medium.

Waist: up to abut 42 inches
Hips: up to about 48 inches
Length: 35 inches (back of neck, down)
Sleeves: about 19 inches (no shoulder seam to measure to)
Night gown Measurements :
Bust: up to 35 inches
Waist: up to 38 inches
Hips: up to 42 inches
Length: 33 inches (from shoulder, down)
Good Vintage Condition- Some overall wear to pieces. Some tiny pulls and creases to the fabric in places. Some small marks on the satin and some discoloration to the nylon in places, especially to the undermost layer near the hem of the nightgown. These did not come out with cleaning. I personally did not find the markings obvious at all - in fact to my eye, they were only noticeable under certain lighting.
