1960s Vintage Young Viewpoint Butter Yellow Short Sleeve Top & Skirt Nubby Knit Set - XL; 1X
A lovely vintage knit set! This butter yellow beauty is a great piece for any season! The top features lovely mod buttons and zips partially in the back. The skirt is a pull on and has an elastic waistband I am not really sure of fabric, but it feels like some sort of cotton blend to me. Has part of the snaps for holding bra strap in place. Label is for Young Viewpoint Fashion Knit and has a union tag. Would likely best fit a modern Extra Large or possibly a 1X. There is only a slight give to the fabric too. The piece is somewhat sheer given the loose knit (see image with hand showing through when held to the light) so you will likely want to wear a slip underneath.

Good vintage condition - Overall wear to pieces. There are some small and faint marks in places that did not come out with cleaning. The elastic waistband seems to function for now. A few loose threads and pulls in places, but they do not seem to impact wear and given the texture of the knit, they do not seem super obvious to me. Some wear and discoloration to the buttons. The thicker detailing on the trim of the top has a white color peaking through the knit. I believe this is how it was made, but I just wanted to mention it. Top buttons pulls a bit.
