1960s 1970s Vintage B.V.D. Mens Reversible Blue Patterned Shorts or Swim Trunks - Md to Lg
Super awesome vintage shorts - possibly even swim trunks! This cool piece is easily reversible! Fabric is cotton. One side is a bright blue color, while the other is a white base with blue and brown pattern (see up close image). The shorts zip up with a metal zipper and button at the side. The maker tag is for B.V.D. and says size 36. Would likely best fit a Mens modern medium or Womens Large. There is a bit of elastic to the waist of the shorts on the back. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference and they are large in the waist, but fit decently in the hips. Please see measurements.

Total Length: about 11 inches at the side (shortest length)
Inseam: 2 inches
Front Rise: 12 inches
Leg Opening (bottom): 11.5 inches (across/flat)
Good Vintage condition - Overall wear. There are a few loose threads here and there that don’t seem to impact wear. There looks like there was a stitch near the waist on the blue side that has been unstitched that looks like a few tiny pinpoint holes in a line (see image). A tiny mark was also found on the blue side. I personally find these very difficult to button because of how closely the button is sewed to the fabric - but this could 100% be just me.
