1960s Vintage Pale Pink Lace Gown with Satin Sash and Unique Back - Sm
For those hot summer formal weddings! This piece would make a great dress for a bridesmaid! Zips up the back with a metal zipper and snap closes at the bow. The more empire- waist looks gives you plenty of room in the waist to be comfortable all evening, especially in the heat! Plus that back!! There is no garment tag and looks to be handmade. Would likely best fit a modern day Small. Model is modern size 4-6 for reference.

Bust: 34 inches
Under-bust/Empire Waist: 31 inches
Natural Waist : 32 inches
Hips: 39 inches
Length: 51 inches
Fair Vintage Condition- Presents beautifully, but there is some overall wear to this piece. First there is some yellowing to the underarms. There are also numerous areas of small holes to the lace here and there. There is slightly larger rip that has been repaired by prior owner near the hem as well. There is also some marks here and there to the piece. One will notice in the last few images that the underskirt looks to have been altered-untacked. It looks like it may have come in a bit at the waist previously and has since been taken out to create a looser, more flowing fit. This is covered by the lace overlay, but it is still there. Satin bow in back has some discoloration, though it is hidden when buttoned. The underskirt hem also has some discoloration as well. I did every trick I could to get all these marks out, to no avail. Apologies. May be best for costume or study.
