RARE 1940s 1950s Vintage Sue Carson Purple Velveteen Fit and Flare Party Dress - Sm
This luxuriously and unique rich purple velveteen color dress would make a great holiday party or date night outfit. From either the late 40s or early 50s, this unique color cocktail dress is definitely one for the books! The studded rhinestone neckline and the fit and flare silhouette create a classic and stunning look. But that color really steals the show! Label is for Sue Carson. The dress zips up the side with a metal zipper. Shoulder pads are present but they could be cut out if you desire. It would likely best fit a modern small. There is no give to the fabric. The Model is modern size 4/6 for reference.

Good vintage condition - The pieces present beautifully, but there is some overall wear. There are a couple of marks and areas of crushing to the velveteen. Very minor discoloration to the piece, it was difficult to capture with camera given the luster of the piece. There are marks on the inside as well that did not come out with cleaning. A few loose threads that do not seem to impact wear.
