RARE 1960s 1970s Vintage Anton Pieck Black Wooden Shadow Box Purse
These box purses are so hard to come by, but they are always so cool to see! The shadowbox portion appears to be a lovely town square theme made of what I think to be cutout paper done in such a way to create a 3D effect. The scene is protected by a layer of glass. The box purse itself is made of painted wood and it opens with a metal latch. The interior is a simple velvet lined areas. It should easily fit most modern smart phones, though it will just sit loosely in there. Please see measurements.

measures about 10.5 inches across x 7.25 inches tall (not including handles) x 3.75 inches deep
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to item. The piece exhibits some scratches, marks from small chips in paint and dents throughout the wood. The glass seems to be in good shape. The metal portions function, just seems a tiny bit tarnished. Inside lining is a type of velvet that seems to be in good shape, with just some minor marks and wear and it likes to collect lint. The piece is heavy compared to a “normal” bag.
