1950s 1960s Vintage Dark Pink Silky Tulip Style Cocktail Dress with Belt - Juniors or XXS
A classic late 50s or early 60s tulip style dress! The darker pink color coupled with the tulip-like skirt would make this a great piece for date night or really any occasion! Dress zips in the back with a metal Talon zipper. There is also a matching belt that you can choose to wear as well - it fastens with velcro and hook closure. The dress is lined inside with what feels and looks like pellon stabilizer fabric - this was used to give the skirt portion more structure! The dress itself though feels like it is a silk fabric. There is no label or size tags present. Would likely best fit a modern Extra Extra Small or a Juniors size, so please see measurements! For reference model is modern size 4/6 and dress form is a size 0 - the dress zipper does work but could not be zipped up on either model or dress form as dress was too small. Belt too could not be fasted on model as it was too small.

Measurements :
Bust: 30 inches, 31 pulled taught
Waist: 22 inches from flat lay, 23 pulled taught
Hips: abut 32 inches (to keep pleating intact)
Length: 42 inches (measured from top of shoulder and straight down)
Belt: about 24 inches with hooks fastened
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the dress. Some minor discoloration present at the underarms and a few marks found throughout (both dress and belt) that did not come out with dry cleaning. A few loose threads in a couple places that do not seem to impact wear. A pin hole found in the silk at one underarm and some small holes found in the internal pellon stabilizer. A few areas where there is ever so slight wear to seams. The silk fabric does exhibit some wear which I have tried to photograph but was difficult to show in images, but overall I will say that it still seams structurally sound! Some wear to the inner seam allotments as well as the pellon fabric stabilizer - but this is to be expected and overall neither of these issues seem to impact wear at all. The fabric itself likes to wrinkle a bit so hang it up as soon as you receive it - some wrinkling happened too from when I had it dry cleaned.
