1950s Vintage Sheer Navy Blue & Flocked Velvet Polkadot Dress - XL or 1X
This would be the sweetest Spring and Summertime dress! The dark blue is so lovely with the white polkadots (in flocked velvet!) throughout. The added detail at the neckline with the rhinestones and faux tie is so cute! The dress zips at the side with a metal zipper. Fabric feels like nylon, though there are no content tags. There are no labels either. It would likely best fit between a modern Extra Large or 1X, but please see measurements! For reference dress form is a modern Medium. The dress is very sheer, so you may want to wear a slip.

Fair vintage condition - Presents beautifully and would make a great costume or study piece, but there is some wear! Primarily, the biggest issue is the fabric. First, there is one fairly sizable rip in the front of the skirt portion (pictured). There are also numerous pulls and small holes and notable wear in a multitude of places. Some of the seams have pulls. The attached netted skirt slip too also has numerous holes and rips -though you could just cut this piece out if you desire. Some of the flocked velvet is coming off. It looks like there was a tag, but it was ripped out. Wear to the inner seam allotments as well. Again, likely best for costume! Some discoloration to the white pleated fabric near the collar.
