1970s Vintage Miss Continental by Ned Gould Brown Daisy Dress - Sm
UMMMM… HELLO! This is by far one of my favorite dresses to hit the shop recently. The dark brown with painted polkadots is super cute. AND then they added flowers to it too! How cute can you get? Rad 70s collar with awesome somewhat sheer sleeves! There are loops to hold a belt in situ if you want/need. Fabric feels like a cotton or cotton-poly blend. The dress buttons and zips up the front. The sleeves also button at the wrist. Best fits modern size Small. Model is modern size 4/6.

Measurements:
Bust: 37 inches
Waist: 28 inches
Hips: up to about 44 inches (measuring the underskirt)
Length: 37 inches
Sleeve Length: 23 inches
Good vintage condition - Overall wear with some pilling especially noticeable at the underarms. The flowers also have some wear and minor marks to them. Some of the flower petals droop too. I am honestly not sure if the garment was meant to be this short as the hemming looks original but the skirt seems ever so slightly longer on the sides than it does on the front and back. It could very well have been intended to be this way, but I just thought it worth mentioning. The original belt is missing. Some loose threads that do not seem to impact wear. Some minor color fade - like what you would expect from a piece that has been washed a few times and a few small marks found.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
