1950s Vintage Paula Brooks Original Black Eyelet Lace Sheath or Wiggle Cocktail Dress - Xs to Sm
This black lacey cotton cocktail dress is an absolute stunner. The dress zips up the side with a metal zipper and buttons at the waist. The waist band is a type of satin in front. The bodice portion is lined, but the skirt portion is not, so you may want to wear a slip like the model. The eyelet lace is almost like a pine-wheel design. Feels like cotton (except for the waist band which is probably silk). Label for Paula Brooks Original. Best fits size extra small to possibly a small. Model is modern size 4/6 and it felt tight in the hips! Dress form an XS.

Good Vintage Condition- Some overall wear to piece, with faint discoloration and color fade, especially to the inside at the underarms. Some faint marks found - most notably on the silk waistband. Some loose threads and wear to the pin-wheel lace as well as the inner seam allotments. The lace is very delicate, so I recommend you being very careful getting into the piece. Please remember that black fabric is extremely difficult to photograph, so the up close images present more grey on the photos than in real life.
