1950s Vintage Lucille Original Ice Blue-Grey Beaded Fit & Flare Cocktail Dress- Lg to XL
Ice blue dresses make a great addition to a festive winter wardrobe! This shiny icy blue dress is only further enhanced by the lovely hand beading at the neckline. The piece zips up the side with a metal zipper. There is no give to the fabric. Label is for “Lucille”. It would likely best fit a modern Large to Extra Large, but please see measurements. . Model is a modern 4/6 and dress form is a modern medium for reference.

Bust: 40 inches (this doesn’t not account for the darting, as you can see in the flat lay photos), when I pull it taught, its more like 42 inches
Waist: 31 inches
Hips: relatively open given style of dress
Length: 46.5 inches
Sleeve Length: 6.5 inches
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the piece. There is some weird stitching near the waist in places. I would not say its bad - it just looks a bit off when you look closely. Some faint marks or areas of discoloration to the piece. This was very hard to capture with the camera (and honestly to see in person -especially from afar) given the sheen of the fabric. While you can see some of the thread stitches of the beaded collar, this looks to be how it was made and the beading looks to be in tact! One small pin hole found on the skirt. Some wear to the inner seam allotments, as expected.
Please note, the up close images of the flaws really showed this more grey - but to my eye in person it looks a lot more ice blue- lie is shown on the dress form or model.
