1950s Vintage Shirley Lee Juniors Red Velveteen and Cream Dress - XXS to XS
A gorgeous Shirley Lee Dress. Valentine perfection in this soft red velvet or velveteen bodice with butter cream satin skirt that has velveteen flower details. There is even a matching belt. Zips up the side with metal zipper, should have closures on the back as well (something will need to be added). Best fits size Extra Extra small or Extra Small. Model is modern 4/6 and as you can see it does not zip up all the way on her. Zipper does work!

Fair vintage condition - Still presents beautifully. There is some general, all over wear - faint marks and tiny holes in various places (see the numerous photos) It looks as though the velveteen has worn off many of the flowers on the skirt. Some pulls and loose threads on the back. The closure will need a ribbon or necklace or something as the original closure in the back is missing. The satin partial lining inside the bodice has minor wear and discoloration at the underarms (this is not noticeable when worn). Wear to the belt ribbon. SOLD AS IS. Still wearable and beautiful (and I have NEVER seen one like it!). May be best for costume or study.
