1960s Vintage Brown and Black Suit Set Wounded - Lg
A great MOD piece for a study or costume! The structure of this piece, especially the coat is very MOD and would make a fun addition to your costume collection! The garment is a cozy fabric- feels like wool. The interior is lined on the jacket, but skirt is only partially lined. The jacket buttons up the front and the skirt zips up the side with a metal zipper. The only tag is a union tag. Pocket flaps are just decoration, not functional. Would likely best fit a modern Large, maybe an Extra Large. The jacket is meant to fit loose and boxy though. Model is modern size 4/6 and it was pinned to her. Dress form is size 8, and skirt was pinned to it as well.

Fair vintage condition - BEST FOR COSTUME OR STUDY! Overall wear. There are numerous areas where there were what appear to be moth holes that had then been “mended” with chunky black yarn all over both the jacket and the skirt. I only took pictures up close of a few. There are still a few small holes that looks like were missed - but minimal compared to the “mended” holes. The jacket has some markings on the interior (lining) and there are some seam pops and seperation of the lining from the jacket in the underarms. Sold as is.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
