1950s Vintage Coral Pink Velveteen True Circle Skirt and Belt - XS
Wow! This lovely velveteen circle skirt is surely one for the books! The vibrant almost coral pink color is just so hard to come by, but here we are!! How elegant this would be for valentines day or a cool Spring outing! Plus it comes with the original belt which features lovely rhinestone rivets. Zips up the side with metal Talon zipper and has additional snap and hook closures. There is no label or size tag. Would best fit an Extra Small. Model is modern size 4/6 and it was very tight in the waist. Dress form is a modern XS and it seemed to fit well. THIS LISTING IS JUST FOR THE SKIRT AND BELT!

Hips: open - its a circle skirt
Length: 28 inches
Belt Length: 25 inches (with current rivet hole)
Fair Vintage Condition - This piece presents beautifully, BUT there is some overall discoloration and areas of color fade to the piece with numerous small marks throughout - I tried to capture this on camera as best as I could for you but it was a bit difficult. I have tried multiple treatments when cleaning the piece and while the marks lightened, they did not come out fully. Some minor crushing and wear to velveteen on both pieces, but especially on belt buckle and near the belt hole. The belt has an additional hole that is not riveted and on the underside (which you do not see when worn) this presents as a large rip in the underside fabric. The skirt has some wear to the fabric at the base of the zipper. May be best for costume or study. Hem may be a bit off, but hard to tell because when you look at the flat lay it does look like a perfect circle. With a crinoline underneath I don’t think this would be obvious at all if it even is off set.
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is only for the skirt and belt- the top, while very similar in color, is a slightly different shade of pink and is not in fact a match to the skirt and belt in this listing. The pieces were found at different places entirely and at different times and once again are not all part of a set! Though if interested, the top is available to purchase as well (separately). While you can see the slight difference in color between the pieces, I do think they still present well together.
