This skirt was made in the 1950s in Mexico City on Insurgentes - its fun when you get an exact address with vintage labels! Measurements :
Waist : 26 inches (no give - but you can always move the hooks in to make it a tad smaller)
Hips: open given its a circle skirt
Length: 26.5 to 27 inches
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the piece. There are some small marks and spots here and there that did not come out with cleaning. The skirt also shows ever so slight discoloration/ fade in a few places -common for pieces that have been washed a few times. There is one spot where the gold paint has become dark - likely from prior owner ironing it. There is a slight bunching to the skirts hem, but not noticeable when worn. Hem is ever so slightly longer on one side (a common thing fir true circle skirts) - this is how it was made (likely by hand)!! If you put a crinoline underneath this should not be noticeable at all! One zipper tooth is missing near the base, but it seems to still zip up just fine.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
