1950s Vintage McKettrick Red & Green Plaid Shirtwaist Dress - Sm
This lovely vintage red, white, and green plaid dress features a large collar and little gathers at the waist, creating such a stunning silhouette. Dress zips up the side with a talon metal zipper and buttons up the front of the bodice with faux pearl buttons. It's a faux double breasted look, so half the buttons don't actually do anything. Label is for Mckettrick. Would likely best fit a modern small. For reference the model is a modern 4/6. The dress is very thin fabric (likely cotton) so I recommend wearing it with a slip underneath.

Good vintage condition- Some overall wear to piece. The tag is worn and fraying. There are some areas with some discoloration and light yellowing (mainly the inside of neck and underarms) . A few tiny pin holes found. Some loose threads and one loose stitch at the bottom of the gathering at the front- which doesn't seem to impact wear. Some wear / scratches to the buttons. The original belt is missing, and belt loop only found on ones side.
