1960s Vintage Lorac Originals Blue & Tan Drop Waist Pleated Dress with Tie - Sm to Md
This lovely vintage 60s drop waist dress is a great addition to your wardrobe! The fun blue tone abstract pattern is very unique. The Dress features a drop waist with pleats. The label is for Lorac Originals. Zips up the back and ties in front go into the little fabric cylinder to create a tie look. Fabric is a type of light weight nylon I believe - this fabric is a personal favorite of mine for travel - it doesn’t wrinkle much at all and its very breathable. Would likely best fit a modern Small to Medium- fit is meant to be a bit loose, somewhat like a 20s style. The hips are really the deciding factor here. Model is modern size 4/6 and it seemed to fit nice and comfortably.

Measurements :
Bust: 38 inches
Waist (natural): 35 inches
Hips (at the drop seam) : 41 inches
Length: 39 inches
Sleeve Length: 7 inches
Good to Fair vintage condition - Presents beautifully, but there is some overall wear and pilling/ pulls to the fabric with some color fade and color bleed throughout (unfortunately a really common thing for this fabric actually). The worst of the color-fade seems to be on the two sleeves. There are a few small holes found on the bodice as well as slightly larger holes found near the hem to the piece, though the pattern and pleating is so busy this doesn’t seem too obvious in my opinion (of course priced accordingly for these issues). The dress hem has been let out to lengthen it. It looks fine now, but you may want to put it back up if you like it shorter. I will say you can see where the stitches were to once hold up the hem. There are belt loops strings on the side, but no belt. Some of pleats are not as crisp as others.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
