1950s Vintage Pale Blue and Silver Floral Lawn Maxi Dress or Formal Gown - Md
Such a lovely piece for a lawn dress or summer wedding. The pale blue and silver pattern is so delicate and the cut is very so simple but so elegant. The fabric is light weight and feels like an early nylon - though I cant quit place it. The piece has no tag and looks to be hand made. There is a metal side zipper. The gown would best fit a modern Medium, maybe a large. Model is a modern 4/6 for reference.

Good vintage condition - The dress has some minor overall wear, though the pattern is busy enough that most of these are not noticeable unless looking very closely to the piece. In all it presents beautifully. The fabric overall has an almost quilted quality to it. Its not “quilted” per-se, but the pattern is raised. I think this is intentional. There are a few very faint spots that did not come out, including at the underarms. A few minor pulls and loose threads (especially on the interior of the garment. This does not affect wear.
