1970s Vintage Pink Floral Vera Neumann Silk Blouse - Md to Lg
This lovely vintage blouse is a great example of the fun vintage patterns and designs you get with a Vera piece! The light silk fabric, coupled with the pink floral design makes this a great piece for warm weather! The top buttons at the front. Based on Vera stamp on the silk fabric it’s from the 70s as the “Vera” signature is large and no lady bug is present, this is confirmed too by the interior fabric tag that also suggest 70s. Label is for Vera (Neumann) and tag says vintage size 16. It was originally intended to be a bit blousy. Would likely best fit a modern medium, possibly a Large, though please see measurements to factor in how blousy you like your tops. Fabric is silk, it is thin and as such it is likely delicate, so keep this in mind for fit as it is a pullover! For reference, model is modern size 4/6 and dress form is a modern Medium.

Good to Fair vintage condition - This piece presents beautifully but it does have some issues. There are a few marks (including what appear to be watermarks) and areas of yellowing and color bleed throughout the piece that would not come out with cleaning. The color-bleed of pink is in a few places onto the white, but the front button area seems most obvious to me. There is some pretty significant yellowing to the underarm areas - this is why I have provided the “Fair” designation. The interior seam allotment seem to be in good shape - the silk edges inside the garment only show minor wear. There is some overall wear, a few areas to the silk that show a tiny pull or wear, but it seems to be structurally sound (though obviously delicate given its old silk). Garment will need to be hung as soon as received to minimize wrinkles. It may be best for costume or study.
