Unique 1960s Vintage MOD Summer Blue Linen Gogo Dress with Unique Belt - Md
Incredibly fun 1960s bright blue, linen dress. Such a lovely dress for those summertime temps we are all dreaming about. Matching MOD belt with what looks like a lucite center. It even has pockets! No tags found, but it doesn’t look to be handmade. The pocket on the bust does not actually function- just those on the hips. Fabric feels like linen - see up close image for the lovely woven texture. Zips up the back. No label or size tag. It is a shift style dress so is meant to be a tad loose and as such would likely best fit a modern Medium. For reference model is modern size 4/6 and dress form is a modern Medium.

Measurements :
Bust: 35 inches or 36 pulled tight
Waist (seems lower, where belt is): 35.5 inches
Underarm down to Waist seam: 11 inches
Hips (measured at about the pockets): 39 inches
Length: 36 inches
Good vintage condition - The piece presents beautifully, but there is some overall wear and color fade which is most noticeable on the shoulder as well as super faint underarm discoloration. There are also a few spots to the piece that would not come out with cleaning - I have tried my best to show these in photos, but camera had a hard time picking some of these up. The belt buckle is a bit weird to get used to when first feeding belt through, but it’s not hard once you understand how it works.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
