1960s Vintage Banff Beaded Black Wool Cocktail Winter Dress - Sm to Md
Classic and chic and so easy to accessorize. This sleeveless woolen dress features a lovely beaded design across the collar. Zips up the back with a metal zipper. The fabric is wool, but it is fully lined. Label is for Banff LTD and tagged a vintage size 12. It would likely best fit a modern Small, possibly a Medium but please see measurements. While the knit itself has some give, the inner lining does not afford a lot of give. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference and felt a bit large in the chest.

Waist: 28 inches
Hips: 35 inches
Length: 41 inches (from top of shoulder and down)
Good vintage condition -Overall wear to the dress. Some of the beads don’t really match -likely from bead repair or replacement - they are really close in size, and color but some look to be more donut shape rather than full on spheres. Some loose threads here too, but it doesn’t look like any are actively falling off. I only noticed upon super close inspection. Some very faint discoloration to the piece - I noted most of this in the at the underarms but it really is faint. There are wear spots to the wool - not full on holes - but wear spots, mostly noted near the hem.
