1960s Vintage Mr. Jack Black Shift Style Dress with Belt - Sm
The adorable fun MOD dress would make a great office staple! I just love the belt! Label is for Mr. Jack. It zips up the back with a metal zipper. The dress also features large belt loops and the original belt- with a gold tone buckle! Fabric feels like a brushed silk, or blend and has no give. It would likely best fit a modern Small. Model is a modern 4/6 for reference.

Measurements :
Bust: 36 inches
Waist: 32 Inches (meant to be loose, but belt is much smaller - Models waist is 27 inches for reference).
Hips: 38 inches (to keep pleats in tact)
Length: 37 inches
Sleeve Length: 16 inches
Belt: 26-29 inches (measured from center of belt buckel to holes)
Fair vintage condition- Some overall wear to the piece BUT it does still present beautifully. That being said the biggest issue is that the fabric exhibits wear and subsequent mends, in multiple places. Some areas still have minor wear. I have tried to demonstrate this in the images - but basically the weave of the fabric was coming undone in places and was mended at various points, some by me, but mostly by the prior owner(s). The worst of it looks to be at the underarms. Because of this issue I would say its more likely best for costume. Its just a guess on my part, but this issue will likely need continuous mending. Some wear to the belt and fabric on it- some tarnish/scratches to the buckle and it also seems really stiff too, though that may be intentional. Some slight discoloration to the underarms.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
