1960s Vintage Pale Pink Lace Cocktail or Party Shift Style Dress - Lg to XL
A lovely lace dress in the palest of pinks. The piece is lined for the body of the dress, but the sleeves are just lace, making this not only super elegant but also a bit more breezy for those hot summer days! Partial zip up the back with nylon zipper. No tags could be found, so its likely handmade. Fit is supposed to be somewhat like a shift dress, so there is some flexibility there. However, it would likely best fit a modern Large, possibly up to an Extra Large. BUT please see measurements below (they are maximums!) as this is meant to be a somewhat loose shift style fit. For reference model is modern size 4/6. I will say the sleeve openings were a bit tight to fit hand through - though in all honesty I do have larger than average hands. Just in case though I have provided sleeve opening measurements below.

Measurements:
Bust: 41 inches
Waist: 44 inches
Hips: 49 inches
Length: 42 inches
Sleeve Length: 23 inches
Sleeve Opening laid flat and measured across : 3.75 inches
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the dress. The lace at the hem is an abrupt cut, it is fraying some all around the hem. Additionally the hem of the dress lining is not actually sewn, just folded but it seems to hold its place fine. This all looks like it was intentional from the maker so I left it. Some minor discoloration/spots and a few pin holes found, most notably on the collar. A few loose threads here and there that do not seem to impact wearability.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
