1950s Vintage Halter Wedding Gown with Tulle Overlay - Md
Such a lovely example of a 1950s tulle wedding gown. This one is perfect for summer however with its lovely little halter top. The simplicity of this piece is so lovely on its own, but it really could also be used as a fantastic starting point should you want a somewhat customized piece to work on with your trusted seamstress! The dress underneath the tulle feels like a type of satin. The tag of the dress is very faded and I cant make it out. Zips up the side with a metal zipper. Best fits a Medium. Model is modern size 4/6 and it had to be clipped on her in the back.

Measurements :
Bust: 36/37 inches
Waist: 27/28 inches
Hips: relatively open
Length: 60 inches
Good vintage condition -Some overall wear to the piece. There are some very minor holes here and there in the tulle overlay of the dress. I have tried to photograph all that I could see. There was once a lace overlay over the bodice and it was absolutely torn to shreds, so I removed what was left. You will notice in the close up of the bodice, there are tiny little pinholes where this lace was sewn to the bodice and loose threads on the underneath part of the halter for the same reason. Also, for some reason only the front portion of the hem of the skirt has not been stiffened (see last photo for the transitional areas).
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
