1900s 1910s Antique Edwardian Cream Silk Blouse - Sm to Md
This incredible antique cream silk blouse is so luxuriously soft and elegant. The garment has ben painstakingly sewed along the cuff and collar to create a gorgeous gathered effect - considering the age of the piece, its in good shape. This would be a perfect piece for your Victorian costumes or even as styled here with a 50’s skirt! While the piece did seem to originally have some sort of hook and eye clasp on the back (where the “v” is), I thought I would leave it up to the buyer to decide whether to put clasps on as the blousing of this piece really allows you to be creative with the look and wear it either way! No tags as this was likely hand made, given the age. Best fits Small to Medium.

Top Measurements:
Bust: up tp 40 inches (depending on how blousy you like it)
Waist: up to 37 inches
Length: 21 inches
Sleeve Length: 24 inches
Fair Vintage Condition - Overall wear. Small holes and stains in the underarm (noted in the last photo). Fabric is very old and delicate and likely would need proper conservation soon - also highly likely this is better for study rather than to wear. May be best for costume or study.
Please note - This is a pull over, so please be aware that it may be difficult to get into especially given the age of the fabric and its delicate nature.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
