1920s Vintage Antique Pink Crepe Boudoir Embroidered Dressing Robe - Sm to Md
Absolutely stunning. I know this is a dressing robe, but I feel like it could be worn out today just fine. The bright pink color is so hard to find from pieces this old! And its still so vibrant! The embroidery too is so pretty, though uncertain if it’s more of a modern addition or not -regardless its unique! My favorite detail to this piece is the blue and pink silken ribbon that is ruffled along the sleeves and collar. Fabric feels like crepe. Garment fastens with tie at the waist and there has been a later addition of a snap closure near the chest. The garment has no tags - normal for this age. Would likely best fit a modern day Small or Medium. Its meant to be loose- somewhat like a cocoon coat. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference - and if going out I recommend wearing a slip as it is thin (model is wearing slip with it in images).

Measurements maximums:
Bust: about 38 inches (as it is a wrap) - model is 34
Waist: about 32 inches (as it is a wrap) - model is 26
Hips: about 39 inches (as it is a wrap) -model is 38
Length: 46 inches
Sleeve Length: about 9 inches from shoulder (not seem)
Good vintage condition - For its age this piece is in good condition, but does have some wear. There are a few areas of spots to the piece - I think most of these are color bleed from the embroidery - i was unable to get any out. There are some small snags and pulls to the embroidery as well. The crepe material also has a few runs and signs of wear as well as some loose threads. The silk ruffles have some minor signs of wear as well. Snap closure looks like new addition, embroidery may be too - though it could still also be from original owner. Given its age I recommend storing it in archival quality boxes and tissue and having cleaned by a professional who knows old fabrics!
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment.
