1940s Vintage Black Corde Handbag with Lucite Handle
One of my favorite types of vintage clutches - the black corde with lucite handle! The detail of the crochet pattern on this corde bag is just so lovely. When coupled with the lucite handle and lucite plastic zipper teeth (yes, its too cool!) this look just cant go wrong. It does not have solid sides, so it does flop a bit (as is standard for this style of bag).

The clutch is relatively flat and measures about 9 inches tall x 18 inches wide x 1 inch deep
Good vintage condition: General overall wear, especially to the corde. I have tried to demonstrate the all over wear marks, threads, and minor color fade to the best of my abilities in the zoomed in photos, but it is difficult to do so and not overexpose the images. Though it presents beautifully still. The lucite handle also has some small scratches and scuffs. The most notable one is pictured. The metal loop that holds the zipper pull to the zipper has some minor tarnish. A few loose threads and minor marks also inside the piece.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise.
