1950s Vintage Light Blue Tulle and Lace Strapless Party Dress - XS to Sm
Absolutely adorable light blue dress. The lovely light tulle with the added ribbon detailing throughout is such an elegant touch. The dress is boned in the bodice for extra structure. There is an indication that there may have been a removable halter strap at one point given the snap closures (there is a bit of extra tulle fabric at the hem in the front with the ribbon, you could use that and rework it into another halter strap!). Side metal zipper. The ribbon bodice is not tacked down to the tulle portion - though it does stand up on its own. I think it was intended to be this way. There is no tag to indicate garment maker. Best fits a larger bust (D cup) with an an Extra Small torso. Model is modern size 4/6 and 34 B and it doesn’t zip nor does she fill it out in the chest.

Bust: would best suit 32D in bust ~ 35/36 inches around if you included the space for breast from the boning.
Waist: 24 inches

Good vintage condition - Some overall wear. Please see photos (after zipper photo). As is expected with vintage tulle its not perfect BUT its still beautiful! There are are two small holes found - one has been mended as it was large enough to cause problems in future. The lace ribbon running through the piece is in great shape, but in some places its not exactly folded as intended. There is one small color fade spot right near the waist. Boning in the bodice is clearly bent/meant for a bullet bra - it can likely be removed if it bothers you. As mentioned above, there tulle in front is slightly longer- this can be cut if it bothers you. There are a few minor threads here and there.
