1950s Vintage Bright Red Light Weight Silk Front Button Holiday Dress - Sm
Stunning Silk! This 50s red silk dress would be great for the holiday season festivities - especially in warmer climates!! It is in a very vibrant red color. Dress buttons in the front and at the sleeves. Additionally there is a metal zipper at the side. The waist is expertly gathered. The piece does have belt loops, but the original belt is missing. The fabric feels like fine silk and has no give. It is a thinner weighted fabric so it is more delicate. There is a lining to the skirt portion. There is no label. This would likely best fit a modern Small, but please see measurements. For reference model is modern size 4/6.

Good vintage condition - Presents beautifully! Some overall wear to the piece. There are a few small or slight pulls to the fabric, but overall the brushed nature of the fabric masks this well. There are a few areas of spots and discoloration that did not go away with cleaning- the most obvious are those at the underarms. Again this feels like silk, it is delicate so just be careful when wearing and more importantly, when storing the piece! Please note, that it is incredibly difficult to capture the flaws for the color red generally- the vibrance of the color always seems to hide the flaws on camera. I have tried my best to show these flaws in the photos provided.
Fabric does like to wrinkle. So hang this up as soon as you receive it.
