1950s Vintage Navy Blue Taffeta Pleated Party Skirt - Md
A lovely vintage navy blue skirt for any time of the year! The shiny fabric feels (and sounds!) like taffeta and has no give. It is a great material and color to really elevate your look for any season. The skirt buttons in the back and zips up with a metal zipper. The waist band is extra thick too, which is unique! There is no tag on the garment to indicate maker. Would likely best fit a modern medium. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference.

Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the piece but presents beautifully! The skirt has a few tiny pinholes and pinpricks to it. These are most noticeable at the waist, as well as when you look through the skirt fabric from the inside towards a light source. Most of the “larger” ones (still small) were not noticeable unless fabric was held up to a light source (last photo). There are also a few loose threads that do not seem to impact wear. Some spotting on item that would not come out. Some color fade/ discoloration found as well - this was really hard to photograph. The stitching that holds the pleats in the waistband was undone, but this should not affect wear at all. The fabric will likely wrinkle from packaging, so hang it up as soon as you receive it to minimize this!
