1960s Vintage Blue Sequined Pill Box Style Hat with Netting
This pill box style hat is really fun and unique! The bold colors and textures work well to create a fun vintage hat! The hat base seems to be comprised of a purple tone satin. Atop that a design of sequins and a fuzzy almost blue fabric was placed. And atop that a netting to partially cover ones face as well as tiny little bows at the crown of the head! There is a union tag inside the hat. It is meant to sit on the head like a pill box style hat, but if you are concerned about sizing, please see measurements.

Measurements: for reference models hat size is 21.5.
Circumference : about 20.5 inches, but I think its meant to sit more atop your head (see model)
Height: about 2.5 inches
Good vintage condition - This piece presents beautifully but it does have some flaws. and overall wear. The structure itself does like collapse when its not worn, but this seems to not be very noticeable when it is on the head. Because of this issue I strongly advice you store it either with a lot of tissue or on a head form to help keep its shape. There is some other issues as well including some discoloration or color fade and marks on the hat. I found these were most noticeable to the purple satin fabric of the hat as well as the velvet bows atop the hat. Some sequin loss - but seems minimal. A few small holes in the netting. Sequins are discolored in places and cloudy. Some flattening / discoloration to the fuzzy fabric.
