1960s Vintage Butter Yellow Winter Spring Coat - Xs to Sm

$135.00

This lovely 60s coat would make a great piece for winter! Its cozy AND the butter yellow is a classic look that pairs with a lot! This would be great to style in so many ways! There is no content tag, but its looks like 3 different fibers woven together. Based upon feel and look, my guess is one is cotton, one is wool, and the other is possibly a sort of synthetic or blend?. See up close photo for the weave. The piece is lined and has pockets. The label is for Mary Lane. It would likely best fit modern Extra Small to Small, but as always please refer to measurements. Remember too, you want coats to be a bit loose to accommodate the clothing underneath. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference and it felt a tad bit tight across her hips when buttoned.

Measurements:

  • Bust: 36 inches

  • Waist: 36 inches

  • Hips: 38 inches

  • Sleeve Length: 21 inches

  • Length: 40 inches (measured form back of collar and down)

Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the piece. There is some small pulls and pilling & fuzzing throughout the entire piece. It is a looser weave overall though, so it is not too obvious to my eye. There are a few small spots in places too that did not come out with cleaning, especially on the inside lining. A few small pin holes in lining too. The woven fabric has little specks in it that did not come out with cleaning - I am like 99.9% sure this is just the fiber being likely raw cotton - or at least minimally processed cotton - which looks just like this. Lining is a tad bit short - but I couldn’t tell when it was on model.

All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
