UNIQUE Vintage Hand Painted Wooden Travel Souvenir Sewing Box or Purse
It’s always useful to travel around with a sewing box - and this fun piece is a great choice - once someones souvenir from traveling to Mexico in decades past! While it is meant as a sewing (or artist) box, it honestly could even function as a really unique purse! The piece is a 3 tiered box that opens up when the handle is pulled apart. The two top compartments have lids that open up as well. While its much more compact than many sewing boxes, it can still hold a descent amount of spool and other goodies! It should easily fit most modern smart phones (should you decide to use it as a purse), but please see measurements.

measures about 9.25 inches across x 6.5 inches tall (not including handles) x 5.5 inches deep
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to item. The piece was hand-made, hand-painted, and hand-varnished piece from wood. You can see the imperfections of wood - a natural material- as well as the small “imperfections” from it being made by hand. There are some scratches, dents, and wear spots to the wood, varnish, and paint scenes. There are a few small splatters of paint found on the piece as well. Mechanically it seems to work as intended with all the rivets secure. One handle rotates a couple degrees, but seems secure. Internally there are some marks on the unvarnished wood, as well as the undersides of the lids show where some wood knots are worn and missing a few pieces (this is not seen from the exterior).
