1930s Vintage Pink Devoré Burnout Patterned Lawn Dress or Gown - Sm
This piece is absolutely breathtaking. The super pale pink color coupled with the sheer nature of the fabric is just stunning- it looks like it’s Devoré, or burnout (though the fabric content itself I am uncertain), I almost have no words for describing this beauty! The shoulders gather in such an elegant way. There is a side talon metal zipper so this does go over the head when putting on. Please keep this in mind when thinking about size. Best fits Small. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference.

Good Vintage Condition - for its age this piece is in great shape but there is some wear and a few throughout. There is some yellowing/ discoloration to the piece, especially to the shoulders and hem of the piece. There are a few loose threads and small seam pulls plus a few pinholes here and there, but none of this seems to affect overall wear. There is some evidence of minor repairs in the past upon very close inspection. Please keep in mind this piece is almost 100 years old and is made of very thin and sheer fabric - it is super delicate!! I would highly recommend storing it long term in an archival box with acid free tissue paper.
