1950s Vintage Eloise Curtis Burgundy Red Wool Dress - Xs to Sm
This stunning burgundy - wine red wool dress is one for the books! The pin-tuck pleating and unique corset style waist gives off such a sophisticated and alluring look. The dress zips up the back with metal zipper, the corset look is just decorative. Fabric feels like wool. Label is for Eloise Curtis and tag says vintage size 11. Would likely best fit a modern XS or Small. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference, skirt area was tight.

Good to Fair vintage condition - On the exterior this dress is in good condition with some overall wear to the fabric, exhibiting a few areas of pilling and some loose threads. There was a few tiny pinholes found and one more noticeable hole found on the wool at the hem. But on the inside of the dress, there is some more significant wear to the interior lining. Here the lining fabric near the underarm seam allotments is separating from the wool showing both some holes and areas of wear. This isn’t visible when the dress is worn, but it is present and may require some work down the road - as such its priced accordingly. I do believe this can be worn as is for now though as the wool itself seems sturdy, but it will need attention for the lining sometime in the future.
